Year 5 Trip to The Thames Explorer Trust, Corney Reach 2020

To assist their river study, Y5 attended a course run by the Thames Explorer Trust in Chiswick called ‘Rivers & Environmental Issues’.

The children learnt about the River’s Journey from source to mouth with a particular focus on the Thames. They also got to experience the joys of river dipping which the children always adore! It was a fun-packed trip and is an invaluable part of our term’s unit of work on rivers.
