Activities & Events General

This week, we continue our annual support of National Anti-Bullying Week. The theme for 2025 is Power for Good, encouraging everyone to stand up against bullying and promote kindness. We’re focusing on how pupils can use their power safely and positively if they witness bullying.

Last week, Year 5 pupils got an early start by taking part in a Bullying Awareness Champion Training Workshop. On Monday, Year 3 joined a nationwide Anti-Bullying Assembly, and we also celebrated our annual Odd Socks Day - a fun way to highlight our uniqueness and encouraging pupils to embrace their individuality and differences.

On Tuesday, pupils attended a special event at the BFI Southbank, supported by our  Year 6 Diana Award Anti-Bullying Ambassadors. They learned how to recognise and use their power to stop bullying, be ‘upstanders’ rather than bystanders and celebrate acts of kindness, reinforcing their PSHE learning. It was an uplifting and inspiring day, leaving pupils confident in their ability to support one another.

Throughout the week, pupils made use of Mrs Dulak’s curated library selection and took part in Anti-Bullying activities in their PSHE lessons, reflecting on kindness, respect and the positive impact they can have on others
