Our Year 6 Latymer Prep Students were transported into Shakespeare's enchanted world of A Midsummer Night's Dream during an interactive workshop led by The Young Shakespeare Company.
Bringing the classic comedy to life, professional actors captivated students with lilve performances, vibrant costumes, and props. Through immersive storytelling, students didn't just watch the play - they became part of it. They stepped into character, performed scenes, and experienced Shakespeare's language firsthand.
The workshop also featured structured drama and language activities, allowing students to explore the emotions and experiences of the characters. From Hermia's turmoil to the mischief in the forest, they gained a deeper understanding of the play's themes through hands-on engagement.
The experience left students inspired, bringing Shakespeare's world to life in a way that was both educational and unforgettable.
