General Activities & Events

This term our pupils have been really enjoying their lessons with our Head of Science, Mr Hanad, doing lots of fun experiments.

Our Year 4 students studied the effects of increasing mass on the extension of a spring. Our Head of Science, Mr Richter said: "There was a great collaborative atmosphere in the classroom."

Our Year 5s have thoroughly enjoyed learning about friction using blocks covered with different materials. Turns out sandpaper has the most friction due to its rough surface.

Over the half term holidays Year 5s built parachutes to test the effects of air resistance. When they got back to school they were keen to test out their designs in class.

And our Year 6 pupils really enjoyed looking at Paramecium and Spirogyra under a microscope - young biologists in the making.
